Check. It. Out.

As a dancer, I find the documentary "The Dancer" (Go figure) so inspirational. It always makes me want to get to the studio and start working. I would highly suggest buying it if you, in any way, enjoy ballet. Here's the link to it on Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Dancer-Erland-Josephson/dp/B0007TKORI/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1282614575&sr=1-1

Or to watch it the more modern and cheaper way, here's the a link to the playlist on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilIm9G4ppPI&feature=PlayList&p=A234437152DC4F7C&index=0&playnext=1

^That's part one of a several part movie. The next video should automatically come up.^

  1. Hi ballerinablogger, I have a request for a post. Well I was offered a contract to be in the ballet company at my dance academy this fall. i am really excited. I am currently a sophmore in highschool and i got all A's last year as a freshman. i am just worried that since im going to be in the company( dancing every day except friday and sunday) that my grades will get bad. Any tips and tricks to keeping good grades and being a dedicated dancer at the same time will be greatly appreciated:)

  2. Madeline,
